Available on both Apple and Android, WhatsApp Messenger is a free messenger service that allows you to message, call and send multimedia messages such as video, audio and images to other WhatsApp users. It uses your internet connection so you can stay in touch with friends and family while travelling without costing anything except data charges. WhatsApp is one of the most installed travel apps of all time, it has been downloaded over 5 billion times.
XE Currency
Available on both Apple and Android, XE Currency provides up to date currency information and calculators that makes converting currency extremely easy. It has other functionality that is aimed at users who are trading in international currency and commodities however as a travel app, it is extremely easy to navigate.
