Essential phrases to learn for travelling in Europe

Travelling overseas is an exciting adventure and while on holiday you want to make sure you are experiencing everything you possibly can.  Interacting with the locals in their own language can make a huge impact on your time and can help you out in tricky situations if necessary.  You don’t have to spend 6 months learning a new language for every country you plan to visit but knowing a few phrases will get you further than you expected.

Even though a large number of Europeans speak more than one language, one of them may not necessarily be English.  You should be in luck with a smattering of German, French, Italian or Spanish though.[/text_output]
